Bloodline by Will Wight: Cradle Book 9 Review

Book 9 Review – A Disappointing Turn in an Otherwise Thrilling Series After eight solid entries, book nine marks the first stumble in a series I’ve thoroughly enjoyed—predictable plot, underwhelming character moments, and a lack of narrative surprises made it a frustrating read. While Lindon’s return to his homeland promised emotional stakes and intense action, the familiar tropes and unsurprising developments fell flat. A few exciting moments and a fast pace kept me going, but overall, this installment didn’t measure up. Here’s hoping the next book delivers on the potential teased in the final chapter. Final rating: ★★☆☆☆

Book Review: Unsouled by Will Wight – A LitRPG Adventure Worth Reading?

“Unsouled” by Will Wight follows the journey of Lindon, a boy born without any magical affinity, making him an outcast in a world where magic defines worth. Deemed unworthy of training, society believes investing in him is a waste of time and resources. The book serves as an entry into the Cradle series, introducing readers to its unique magic system, world-building, and intriguing mysteries. If you enjoy progression-based stories like Solo Leveling, Unsouled is a fantastic start into the LitRPG genre.
